Easy DIY Pom Pom Tree Skirt

So I decided I needed to somehow jazz up my tree skirt... The plain red just wasn't cutting it! I stumbled upon this adorable pom pom trim and I decide that this would be the perfect touch!! And it cost me a around $10 bucks to make it!!

Materials You Will Need:

-Tree Skirt ( I found mine a Target for $5 bucks!)

-4 yards of pom pom trim of your choice ( I chose the larger pom poms, they are about 1in a piece.)

-Thread

-Pins

-Sewing Machine

NOTE: If you do not have a sewing machine you could hot glue the trim to your tree skirt depending on the material of it. Since this one is felt material, hot glueing could have worked as well!

First you will need to pin your trim to your tree skirt. I pinned the trim every 5 inches or so.

After pinning, carefully stitch along the trim sewing it to the skirt. The pom pom trim is a little tricky so I slowly stitched around the skirt.

Lastly trim off any excess thread and TADA!!! You are now ready to put your skirt under the tree!! Pretty easy huh?

I think the trim gave it a little something without being too much!! I hope you enjoyed my super easy tree skirt!
