DISNEYLAND PT 2 & SOME HELPFUL TIPS!

Our second and third day at Disneyland we spent in the classic Disneyland park. And let me tell you! It was magical! So many rides, characters, and fun! Fantasyland was probably Asher's most favorite and I must say it was ours too! Here are our last photos from the trip and a few helpful tips! Enjoy!

Number of Days - You definitely will want 2-3 solid days at Disneyland if you are wanting to do as much of the parks as possible. We purchased the 3 day park hopper military passes and they were an amazing deal. If any of you are active duty military I definitely recommend that you check them out.

Meals/Drinks - You can bring a soft cooler into the parks. We brought a small one packed with water and juice and it worked out really well. As for meals we ate a big breakfast in the mornings and had lunch at the parks. It was worth it to us than to pack a large cooler around full of food. The portions at the places we ate (Flo's Cafe, New Orleans Square) were large, very filling, and enough to share with Asher. If you are wanting to eat at any place that takes reservations, I recommend making them ahead of time. You can easily do it by accessing Disneyland's website and it will save you lots of time. I did pack snacks for Asher in the diaper bag just to have on hand. And of course we had to get a few that were on our list to eat... Dole Whips being one of them!

Research & Plan Your Trip - Research your trip before going. Pinterest was a great source for me! Almost everything I read was very accurate and super helpful. Also have a game plan for your trip. You can view maps of the parks online. We planned out our days the nights before and it made things SO much smoother! We knew exactly where we wanted to go and when!

Strollers - Disneyland has an abundant area of stroller parking and we had no issues parking ours. We did purchase a stroller lock just to be on the safe side!

Hotel Stay - We stayed at the Red Lion Hotel which was just a few minutes away from the park and it worked out really well. We walked to the park and back each day instead of taking a shuttle. We found it easiest to do and it was only about an 8 minute walk.

Character Breakfast - We decided to do the character breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen one morning before we hit he park and it was a total BUST! Maybe it was just us but we were under the impression that there would be the original characters there. We opted to do this instead of wait in character lines... or thats what we thought... None of the classic characters were at the breakfast (Mickey, Minnie, Donald, etc) and Asher didn't really know the ones that were. It was overpriced, a buffet style, and not what we thought it would be. I heard really good things about it, but it just wasn't for us.

I hope you find these little tips/advice helpful for your future Disneyland trips!

Happy Friday!

XO!
