This past weekend we headed a few hours up the coast to visit friends family before our big move to California. Our weekend consisted of lots of laughs, a few trips to Fuzzy Peach, and dinner on the waterfront.
Being back made Jacob and I miss being stationed there. Leaving was bittersweet, we are very much looking forward to starting life in Cali, but deep down wouldn't mind if we had orders back to North Carolina. Maybe we will retire there someday....?

Back to reality this week... lots of packing and sorting through things.... I did sign Asher up for baby swim lessons this week so that should be fun... 13 short days and we will be California bound!

Asher did good in the car, this was our little "trial run" before the move. I loaded up the Ipad with episodes of Mickey Mouse Club House and that seemed to do the trick! I did have to crawl in the back with him for about 30 minutes to get him to fall asleep.

We ate like Kings all weekend... Breakfast by the famous Yana and dinners at our favorite little spots! Not to mention the 7 trips we made to Fuzzy Peach... I probably gained 10lbs on this little vaca...
